Ryan Park Campground

The Ryan Park Campground, Medicine Bow National Forest was a Civilian Conservation Corps camp in the 1930s and during World War II housed prisoners of War. Although little remains, visitors can learn more from the historic interpretive signs at the campground. It is located at 8,009 ft elevation on the Snowy Range Scenic Byway near Saratoga, Wyoming. The campground, on Barrett Creek in the Medicine Bow National Forest, features 50 campsites.

Directions: From Saratoga travel south on Highway 130 eight miles, then east on Highway 130 for 15 miles. The campground is east of the small community of Ryan Park. For more detail visit the website linked above.
